A continuous Mechanical Extract Ventilation (MEV) unit sits centrally, usually in a loft or cupboard, and quietly extracts stale, humid air from wet rooms (kitchen, bathrooms, WCs) through ducts, expelling it outside. Running continuously, it controls moisture and pollutants across the whole home.
What do HumidiSMART and TimerSMART do?
HumidiSMART continuously monitors humidity and boosts the unit when it detects a genuine man-made spike, regardless of distance or dilution. TimerSMART works out the duration of occupancy and allocates a suitable overrun time, eliminating nuisance noise and over-ventilation.
How efficient is it?
It has an exceptionally low Specific Fan Power of just 0.16 W/l/s, making it very cheap to run, along with a compact, light design for space-saving installation.
