Plastic ducting T pieces split or join a rigid duct run so one fan can serve two rooms, or two extract points can feed one duct. We stock Domus push fit T pieces for 100mm, 125mm and 150mm round duct and 110 x 54mm flat duct, all in white PVC. For a smoother split with less resistance, Y pieces are available in our 100mm, 125mm and 150mm round ducting ranges. For help planning a branched run, email hello@efans.co.uk or call 0161 399 3825.

Frequently asked questions
What is a ducting T piece used for?
A T piece creates a branch in a duct run. It is used to extract from two rooms with one fan, such as a bathroom and en suite, or to split a supply run in an MVHR system.
T piece or Y piece?
A T piece branches off at 90°, which is compact but adds more resistance. A Y piece splits the air at a gentler angle, so it flows more smoothly. Use a Y piece where there is space, especially on longer runs or lower powered fans.
Will a T piece affect my fan's performance?
Yes. A branch adds resistance and divides the airflow, so check the fan can handle the total duct length and both branches. Keep branches short and similar in length so each room gets a fair share of the air.
How do they connect?
Domus T pieces push fit onto the same size duct on all three legs. Tape each joint with aluminium duct tape for an air tight seal.
