The Zehnder EVO 3 is the efficiency sweet spot of the EVO range — same compact 269 mm casing as the EVO 4 but with optimised motors and aerodynamics that deliver up to 91% heat recovery at just 0.5 W/l/s SFP. For 2–3 bed apartments and small houses that don't need the EVO 4's 322 m³/h headroom, the EVO 3 is the lower-running-cost choice.
EC motors hold a constant commissioned flow rate as the filters load, so Part F duty is maintained between filter changes. The summer bypass is fully filtered — pollen and particulates stay out during warm-night purge — and at 38.6 dB(A) on full boost it's the quietest unit in the EVO family. The integrated condensate fall lets you ceiling-mount without packing or shims.
Four variants available: standard, factory-handed pre-heater (for external temperatures below -10°C), mirror-handed pre-heater, and an enthalpy exchanger version that recovers moisture as well as heat.

Installation
Wall or horizontal ceiling mounting. Integrated condensate fall — no shimming required. 160 mm internal duct connections, rotatable spigots. Wired by a qualified electrician via the supplied flying lead. Like the Zehnder EVO 4 heat recovery unit the Evo 3 is designed for efficient air circulation. Its compact design makes it ideal for both residential and commercial spaces. Additionally, the unit features advanced filtration to ensure clean air while maintaining optimal humidity levels. Similar to ventaxia heat recovery units these also provide excellent energy efficiency for heating and cooling needs. Their innovative design ensures that used air is effectively filtered and reused, which minimizes waste and reduces energy costs.
