What does a destratification fan do?
It pushes the warm air that naturally rises and collects at ceiling level back down to where people are, evening out the temperature top-to-bottom and reducing the heat (and cost) wasted at high level.
How much air does the HCF900 move?
Up to 8100 m³/h (2.25 m³/s) from its 36" (900 mm) sweep, covering a large floor area while drawing only 43 W.
Where is it used?
Tall or large spaces such as industrial warehousing, gymnasiums, factories, stores and offices.
How is the speed controlled?
Via Hydor's HCF1.7 electronic controller, or the HCFC1.7 reversible controller for summer/winter airflow direction (controllers sold separately).
Is it quiet and reliable?
Yes — it uses long-life ball bearings and silent automatic shutters, and runs on a standard single-phase 220–240 V, 50 Hz supply.
