What Hydor fans do you stock?

What are Hydor destratification fans?

The Hydor HCF range is a series of destratification sweep ceiling fans designed to recirculate warm air that rises and becomes trapped at ceiling level in large commercial and industrial spaces. In buildings with high ceilings — warehouses, factories, retail units, sports halls, churches and workshops — temperature stratification means the heated air sits above the occupied zone where it provides no benefit. HCF destratification fans are mounted at ceiling height and push this warm air back down to floor level, reducing the temperature difference between ceiling and floor and lowering heating energy consumption. The range covers 900mm (up to 8,100 m³/h), 1200mm (up to 12,600 m³/h) and 1400mm (up to 14,112 m³/h) blade diameters. All three sizes are speed-controllable and run on single-phase supply.

What are Hydor HIT inline fans?

The Hydor HIT range is a series of inline centrifugal duct fans designed for ducted ventilation and extract applications in commercial and light industrial buildings. Unlike axial inline fans, centrifugal fans generate higher static pressure, making HIT fans suited to longer duct runs, installations with multiple bends, or systems with higher resistance such as those using in-duct filters or fire dampers. The range covers 100mm, 125mm, 150mm, 160mm, 200mm, 250mm and 315mm duct sizes, with airflow rates from 212 m³/h (HIT125) up to 1,231 m³/h (HIT315). All HIT fans are speed-controllable and connect to standard circular ductwork.

What are Hydor HPA plate axial fans?

The Hydor HPA range is a series of compact plate axial fans designed for wall-mounting, panel-mounting or ducted installation in commercial and industrial ventilation systems. Plate axial fans are used for general ventilation, extract, supply air and process cooling where a compact, high-airflow fan is needed. The HPA range covers sizes from 250mm to 630mm and is available in 2-pole, 4-pole and 6-pole motor configurations — higher pole counts run at lower speeds for quieter operation and lower airflow, while lower pole counts deliver higher airflow at higher speed. Airflow rates range from 774 m³/h (HPA250/4) up to 10,796 m³/h (HPA630/4). All HPA fans are single-phase and speed-controllable.

Do you stock Hydor speed controllers?

Yes — we stock the Hydor 1.7 Amp speed controller, which provides variable speed control for Hydor HCF destratification fans and other single-phase AC fans within the 1.7A current rating. Speed control allows the fan to be run at reduced airflow for quieter operation or increased airflow when more air movement is needed.
