The Elta SEN-HY-I is a wall mounted humidistat with a built-in run-on timer. It switches ventilation on, or to boost, when room humidity passes an adjustable set point between 50 and 95% RH, then keeps it running for 1 to 25 minutes after humidity falls.
It switches up to 2A at 230V 50/60Hz, has an LED status indicator, fits a single back box and has an IP40 rating for operating temperatures from 0°C to +35°C. Elta code ET-900005/A, with a 1 year parts only warranty.

What it is best used for
Automatic humidity control of extract fans and the humidity boost input of whole house units: bathrooms, shower rooms, en-suites, utility rooms and drying rooms, plus remote boost of Elta HAVA MVHR units from the wet room where the moisture is produced.
It is a switching device rated at 2A, so it suits domestic fans and the switched inputs of MVHR units, not large commercial fans. It is IP40 and rated to +35°C, so do not mount it inside a shower enclosure or directly above a bath or cooker.
