The Elta SEL3V-I-MOXA is the three speed selector for the Elta MOXA MEV whole house extract unit. It lets the occupant or installer choose between three running speeds from a wall mounted knob instead of relying only on the unit's built in two speed setting.
With the selector fitted, speed 1 and speed 2 are set on the MOXA's internal V1 and V2 trimmers and speed 3 is the unit's maximum (up to 383 m³/h at 0 Pa at full speed, 230 m³/h at 100 Pa). The MOXA's humidity sensor still boosts the fan when its threshold is reached.

What it is best used for
New build and refurbished houses and flats fitted with a MOXA MEV unit, where the occupant needs a simple low, medium and high setting: for example a higher speed while cooking, showering or drying washing, then back to trickle.
It only works with the MOXA MEV. It is not a speed controller for other fans, and for step-less control the MOXA can instead take a 0-10V signal or Elta's variable speed control knob.

Is there a variable speed option instead?
