The 100mm Circular Intumescent Fire Block fits 100mm diameter spiral ducting and seals the duct in a fire while allowing air transfer in normal use. It has no moving parts: the intumescent core expands in heat to form an incombustible mass that blocks the spread of fire and hot smoke.
Slim at 38mm thick with roughly 60% free area, it is tested in timber doors rated up to 60 minutes and in walls and ductwork rated up to 120 minutes. Finished in black/grey, it needs little maintenance beyond an occasional wipe with a damp cloth.

The 100mm Circular Intumescent Fire Block fits 100mm diameter spiral ducting and seals the duct in a fire while allowing air transfer in normal use. It has no moving parts: the intumescent core expands in heat to form an incombustible mass that blocks the spread of fire and hot smoke.
