The Elta SLC560/4A-1AC is a 560mm Revolution long cased axial fan and the smaller motor single phase AC model at 560mm. It moves up to 10922 m³/h at free air and 7204 m³/h against 200 Pa, from a 4 pole single phase AC motor running at 1415 rpm.
The casing is heavy gauge steel, hot dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 and suitable for external mounting, with a die cast aluminium aerofoil impeller. The motor is IP55 with sealed for life bearings, wired to an IP55 terminal box on the outside of the case. Elta list no speed controller for this model, so it runs at fixed speed. Elta give a 12 month warranty.

What it is best used for
Higher airflow general ventilation on a single phase supply: sports halls, agricultural buildings, warehouses and workshops, wall mounted or ducted up to 200 Pa. It moves 10922 m³/h at free air, roughly 10 air changes an hour in about 1092 m³.
It draws up to 4.15 A and Elta list no speed controller for it, so treat it as fixed speed. At 200 Pa it is down to 7204 m³/h; for variable speed or more pressure on single phase, look at the SLC560-1EC.
Why choose this over alternatives
The Elta SLC560/4B-1AC holds more air under load (8950 against 7204 m³/h at 200 Pa) and has a listed transformer controller (149-TC116), for 1.225 kW instead of 0.94 kW.

Installation notes
- Mount at any angle, horizontally in a duct run or vertically, and make sure the fan is adequately supported: it weighs 45 kg. AV mounts and mounting feet are available from Elta.
- The flanges are 645mm outside diameter with 12 holes of 12mm on a 620mm PCD. Use Elta matching flanges and flexible connectors to join it to ductwork.
- Fit a local isolator, and protect the motor with a starter or controller that has overload protection; fuses and breakers only give short circuit protection. Do not use the isolator for day to day on and off control.
- Wire to diagram 152-502 for 220-240V single phase. Check rotation and airflow direction at first start and that the running current does not exceed the nameplate.
- Not suitable for corrosive or explosive atmospheres. Inspect and clean the impeller, motor and guards at least every 12 months.

Can it be mounted outside or vertically?
Yes. The galvanised casing is suitable for external mounting as standard and the fan can be mounted at any angle. For explosive atmospheres you need the ATEX rated Elta SLCX range instead.
