What is the BF 100 HTX for?
It's a powerful centrifugal 100 mm ducting fan for bathrooms, toilets and kitchens, designed to keep performing on long or restrictive duct runs where an axial fan would struggle.
How is the HTX version controlled?
It has an on-board humidistat and run-on timer, boosting automatically when humidity rises and running on for a preset period afterwards. It can also be switched manually.
What airflow and duct size does it use?
Up to about 62 m³/h in free air (with strong performance under pressure), connecting to 100 mm ducting.
Why centrifugal rather than axial?
Its forward-curved radial impeller develops much more pressure, so it maintains airflow through long duct runs.
Does it have a filter?
Yes, a removable PP filter protects the impeller and motor from dust and can be cleaned and refitted.
Is it suitable for a bathroom?
Yes, it's IPX4-rated and double insulated (no earth required). As a mains fan it should be installed by a qualified electrician.
